Frequently Asked Questions: Applying

At which stage do I require an advocate?

An advocate can help you in all stages of the process; however, an advocate will greatly increase your chances for success once you have to present your case in front of an Administrative Law Judge and any other appeals after the hearing.

So, while you don’t always need an advocate at the beginning of the process, it is a good idea to have one at the start and all the way through.

Citizens Disability has dozens of advocates on staff and available to help claimants, which is a big part of what makes us such a powerful ally for the people we represent. Our skilled advocates oversee all of the claims we handle for our clients, working closely with our highly trained and specialized staff. Our large team of experienced advocates and specialists work together to ensure that our clients get the best possible outcome for their claims.
